In 1985 Loveland became the first city in Colorado to enact an ordinance which earmarks 1% of all capital projects over $50k for public art. Today, the city's collection encompasses more than 500 diverse works of art valued at more than $11.4 million, and many of those pieces can be found throughout our downtown. In addition to sculptures, many buildings are adorned with unique murals created by artists and the local community.
